La llegada

Me cansé mucho durante el viaje pero llegué sin enfrentar muchos obstaculos. Habían unos factores que contribuyeron a la buena llegada; primero, toda la gente con quienes hablé eran muy amables, y se puede notar una diferencia general entre los actitudes de los ticos y los estadounidenses. Segundo, encontré a otros estudiantes del grupo y viajamos juntos. Aunque he viajado tantas veces que estoy cómodo navigando aeropuertos internacionales, siente bien saber que haya otras personas que puedes contar con. Conocí a Leda (la mamá, es una maestra), y a Johan (un hijo). Los otros están durmiendo. A la izquierda hay un foto de mí justo antes de salir de Portland.

The trip wore me out, but I arrived without encountering much difficulty. There were a few things that contributed to the easy trip; the first being that everyone I interacted with was very helpful and friendly. Secondly, I found other students from my OSU group and we traveled together. Even though I have traveled enough to be comfortable with international airports, it's good to know that you have others to count on. I met Leda (the mother; she is a teacher) and Johan (one of the sons). To the left is a photo of me about to leave.
